You know how a fall works? How your feet stand firm on the ground with the weight of the rest of your body on it. Perfect, simple, unbruised. With your brain constantly working, functioning all the time and thinking of different things. Dreaming, believing, opening your mind to new things. And then suddenly you fall. Your feet become weak and lose stability causing you to collapse straight to the ground. Sometimes you end up bruised or unconscious. So many things can happen in a split second. And then, if you are badly hurt, you are rushed to the hospital, with your family and friends worried about you and what can happen.
My fall was different though, I woke up one morning and decided to go roller blading, little did I know the fall that was expected in my future. I fell and my nose collided hardly against the ground. My eyes close, and when I opened them for the next time I found myself in a hospital bed. I don't remember much of my experience in the hospital, but I do remember the pain. And pain is a weird feeling because unlike the others, it demands to be felt.
It's been a week since I fell down, and broke my nose and chin. Now I'm feeling better. I am no longer as bruised as I use to be and I am recovering strongly. I feel as good as new. As if I was put into a factory, put apart, and then put back together. I was in bed for a week, I can't do any physical activities for a month, and then I'm good to go.
